For years the American Basketball Association has been the most exciting league no one knows about. The NBA knows, but will not tell you. Now the whole world may know. The ABA may be close to getting their players the long awaited recognition they deserve.
The ABA TV Network will be a series of conventional, satellite, online streaming companies that will be carrying ABA games nationwide every weekend (a potential of 175 teams exist nationwide).
"Media and exposure have been the missing ingredient for our first 19 years", said CEO Joe Newman . "And for this first time, starting in January, the world (not just the US) will see the ABA in action - the most exciting, the highest scoring, action-packed, fun basketball being played anywhere.
It has been a long time coming. There are players who are qualified to play in the NBA that the viewers may now get to see. The buzz around the ABA will only grow if the ABA closes this deal.
